Before he enter on the execution of his office, he shall take the following oath or affirmation:--"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

This is a good example of the wording of the proposed amendment as preamble to Roles and Responsibilities of Each Chair and a Second Pride Ambassador if applicable.

Discussion includes how we as Ambassadors and Officers of Second Pride must somehow make the distinction on a daily basis between pride as a desirable emotion we feel and encourage others to feel around Pride festivities the world over, which is obviously a good thing, and overweening pride or hubris, which never is good.

Discussion also includes how the Charter is the rare mechanism of stability that keeps us on our mission when we freely relinquish our terms to future people, whom we hope can take what we have started and harmoniously advance the mission in the spirit of Second Pride without making those who came before fear for their very safety much less see their work in tatters and ruin (worst case).
