~*~Call for Artists~*~Second Pride 2010 Art Walk Event~*~

Second Pride is proud to present it's second event for the fundraising year and we would love for you to show your art!
Please come join us in celebrating our diversity through art...it's magic!

In late September, we are holding an "art walk"....3 sims full of art from all parts of our community, a day spent walking through the sims, viewing all the great works that have been done in Second Life, auctioning of art and culminating in a magical semi-formal dance under the stars.

We are asking any and all artists to come and place their art on one of the 3 sims. We ask that all artists who participate in this event, please agree to choose one piece of your art to be auctioned with proceeds going to Second Pride/Amnesty International. Also, please be available on the day of the "walk" to speak about your work, ideas, passions, etc. during the time of the "tour". Sim choice will be on a first come-first served basis. From pictures and paintings to sculpture....our community would love to see all of your work.

Please note....we would like to offer "giveaways" during the dance, one per hour for duration of the dance....the giveaway offers the "winner" the right to his or her choice of art piece from any of the artists who have participated throughout the day. So, we are asking that you also be prepared/agree to "give" the "winner" his or her choice of art piece should one of your pieces be chosen.
