SP10 Committee Meeting Minutes September 20, 2009

N. In Consideration of Membership Chair’s Report
Keokipele Ansar reported that the Treasurer Election is September 24, 2009 and polls will be open for 24 hours.

The floor was open to the public for discussion for the AHCC and the following motions were made.

Lemonodo Oh requested that the Committee accept his proposal that the AHCC be compromised of all Chairs and Ambassadors. Committee reviewed Mr. Oh’s proposal and declined.

Isaiah Tolsen motioned that the Committee accept the proposed 9 representatives (3 Committee:3: Ambasadors: 3 General Members) vs the oringial 7 represntatives (3 Committee:2 Ambassadors: 2 General Members). Motion defeated. 3 Ayes: 4 Nays

Kiroja Fluffy motioned that that Committee accepts proposed 2 representatives from each group for the AHCC. Motion passed unanimously.

The Ad Hoc Charter Committee will be comprised of 2 current standing Second Pride 2010 Committee Members (to be determined at the public Committee meeting on Sunday, 11 October 2009), 2 Second Pride Ambassadors (to be determined by 24 hour poll vote in the Ambassadors forum on Tuesday, 20 October 2009), and 2 General Members of Second Pride (to be determined by 24 hour poll vote here in the forums on Tuesday, 20 October 2009).

General Members / Members at Large of Second Pride interested in sitting on the Ad Hoc Charter Committee may fill out applications HERE.

Applications will be accepted through midnight SLT, Monday, 12 October 2009. The standing Second Pride 2010 Committee and the Second Pride Ambassadors will have a period of seven (7) days to review the applications and may contact applicants or references during that time for clarification or further details regarding responses.

ALL applicants will be placed on a ballot for voting by the standing Second Pride 2010 Committee and the Second Pride Ambassadors for the 24 hours of Wednesday, 14 October 2009 (midnight to midnight). The voting will be by poll here in the forums.

The two general members with the highest number of votes will be seated on the Ad Hoc Charter Committee. If the highest number of votes goes to two applicants (a tie), both will be seated on the Committee. If the second highest number of votes results in a tie, there will be a second poll to determine which of the two will be seated on the Ad Hoc Charter Committee.

Members of the Second Pride 2010 Committee and the Second Pride Ambassadors are ineligible for these two Ad Hoc Charter Committee seats.
